Abstract

Ramadan is the holy month for Muslims. It is a month of blessings and prayers. Habits during this sacred month are common in all Muslim countries, however each country or city can have its own traditions based on its culture and its history. In Moroccan cities, people are used to staying awake until "Shour"( before sunrise) , the most pious spend their nights either reading the Koran and religious books or praying.
