Abstract

The program speaks about the Martyrs Street, a central street in the city of Hebron connecting the north to the south. It dates back to nearly 400 years ago . The area has faced a Judaizing process from settlers since 1980 . Testimonies of some Palestinian resistant citizens who refuse to leave their houses and their shops despite the pressure exercised on them . According to these people,this street was closed by the Israeli forces who used to control all the Palestinian residents those who have been displaced because of stress . In addition to that 3000 shop owners were forced to leave their shops and shut them down. The program shows also the daily suffering of shop owners, the inhabitants of the area and the mistreatment of the settlers.
