Abstract

The civil service consumer corporation plays a leading role in the provision of quality consumer goods at competitive prices . The institution meets the needs of the Jordanian consumer by offering food, house hold items, clothes to electrical appliances and that thanks to its markets in all regions of the Kingdom. Mahmoud Abu Hazim, the general manager, confirms in an interview that there is a need to develop the markets which benefit from government interest and support from the treasury to keep the prices current, and, thanks to tariff and tax concessions on their products.
